Apply oil after waxing! Big Softie is designed to be used as the last step in your post-wax routine.

  • No! Adding any moisture such as lotion or oil before waxing will make it difficult for the wax to adhere to the skin. The wax will either slip off the skin or not remove the hair.
  • If you have dry skin, apply a generous layer of lotion or You Big Softie Finishing Oil to skin at least 24 hours before waxing.
  • Make sure skin is clean prior to waxing.

  • To prevent ingrown hairs and irritation, wipe just-waxed areas with a layer of Ride or Cry AHA Exfoliating Splash. This will gently exfoliate the skin while dissolving dirt and bacteria, which can lead to irritation.
  • Follow up by applying You Big Softie to soothe the skin.
